More proof that in order to reach an effective consent order/financial order there has to be full and frank disclosure. It is much more costly to go to appeal and have those costs as well as the costs of the original hearing.
KG v LG (appeal out of time: material non-disclosure) [2015] EWFC 64 Judgment Published: 27/07/2015 Disclosure Wife's appeal, out of time, against a consent order made in 2010 after she realised that a trust that she believed had been set up to benefit the children in fact had the husband as the primary beneficiary. The judge ruled that there had been material non-disclosure and the wife had not delayed once the information had come to light. The order was set aside.
