Scott Weiland's widow, Jamie, claims at the time of his death the singer owed her more than $64,000 because they had a prenuptial deal in place that promised to pay her $2,000 a month during their marriage.
The document stated that monthly payments would be deposited into a separate account for her and would also include an annual 7% raise. However, Jamie - who was married to Scott for two years prior to his death in December 2015 - claims her husband only made two deposits by the time he died, aged 48 from a toxic mix of drugs. She alleges that if the rocker had kept to their original agreement then she would have received the total sum of $64,406. This is another case that we will be following to see whether the claim is successful based upon what was contained in the pre-nup. Courts now pay a lot of attention to these documents where they have been properly prepared.
