We are rounding off our blogs on Action for Brain Injury week by adding photos of our National Clinical Negligence team supporting the #Hats for Headway initiative.
Headway is a national brain injury charity, which has more than 125 local branches across the UK providing services, information and support to brain injury survivors and their families. A brain injury can severely impact every part of life including all the things we take for granted, such as speaking to our friends and family, mobility, emotions, and gathering our thoughts. These changes can be permanent and disabling.
This year the Headway campaign across Action for Brain Injury week between 14 – 20 May 2018 is for “You, me, and brain injury”. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of this hidden injury, the effects of brain injury, and the impact such an injury can have on a survivor’s family and friends. It also aimed to show the ways that those living with brain injury can regain their confidence and independence, and how to adapt to their new lives.
Hats for Headway is an initiative to show support for Headway and to raise awareness of brain injury so our Freeths Clinical Negligence team have donned our hats, bonnets and headgear today! We hope you enjoy our photos. If you would like to join in the fun, then you can share your own hat photos on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway
