On day 4 of Resolution's Good Divorce week I am sharing a tip I give to all of my clients: to be the best parent you can be for your child, you need to make sure you take care of yourself.  During separation and divorce can feel easier to "keep busy" and not talk about what is going on and how you are feeling.  This can lead to isolation. depression and difficulties building up.  Seek help for yourself from friends and family and professional, additional support.   Children tell us;

I am worried about you.  I can see you are upset even though you are telling me you are fine.  I would feel better if I knew someone was talking to you and listening to your worries, like you listen to mine.  If you are ok, I will feel more confident about me being ok.
