As a family lawyer and mediator I often see clients struggling to deal with the emotional consequences of relationship breakdown. I often refer one or both parties to counselling to help them deal with these issues.
Reading the article linked to below highlighted how often one partner/spouse may be more traumatised at the end of the relationship. This can make practical separation, decisions and negotiations difficult. It will be interesting to see if this medication option is supported by further research.
