If you are an employee who is concerned about their safety in the workplace, or even getting there, flexible working may be an option. Any changes will be permanent unless agreed otherwise.
For employers, there are likely to be a greater number of flexible working requests in the coming months and years. The world has changed in the past 18 months and employers can not simply rely on old reasons for refusing requests. Each request must be considered and reasoned carefully on its own merits.
