The long awaited Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 is due to take effect on 6 April 2022.
This article explains the many benefits this change is expected to have on the process. Helping to make the divorce process simpler, removing the requirement to place blame on one of the parties, or prove that they have been separated for at least 2 years.
This change will undoubtedly assist in reducing conflict between spouses, helping them to focus on the important issues.
